Medical Director | Adam Dickler, M.D.
A native of the Chicago suburbs and graduate of Rush Medical College, Dr. Adam Dickler now serves as Medical Director of CyberKnife Cancer Institute of Chicago. Dr. Dickler was previously an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center. His post-graduate training included a role as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center. In addition Dr. Dickler has authored more than 30 papers, multiple textbook chapters, and presented original research at national meetings. He is an expert in Brachytherapy and emerging cancer therapies, especially in the treatment of breast and prostate cancers.
Radiation Oncologist | Neil Mehta, M.D.
Dr. Mehta is a board certified radiation oncologist. He worked at the University of Chicago as an assistant professor, where he specialized in the treatment of brain tumors, gynecological tumors, and lymphomas. He currently is a partner of Alpha Med Radiation Oncology and practices out of several clinics and hospitals. He also continues to have a teaching role at the University of Chicago as a clinical associate to the department of radiation oncology. Dr. Schreiber earned his doctorate at the University of Cincinnati. After interning at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital for a year, Dr. Schreiber was a resident in Radiation Oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital from 1986-89 and served as chief resident. Today, he is Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology Department at Swedish Covenant Hospital. Radiation Oncologist | Marina Kuznetsova, M.D., Ph.D.
Upon earning a Ph.D. in Radiation Oncology and General Oncology at Hertzen Moscow Oncology Research Institute in Moscow, Dr. Kuznetsova continued to study medicine in the United States. She served as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the local Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. In total she has acquired more than 20 years of clinical and academic experience in Radiation Oncology, including practice in brachytherapy, combined modality treatment, intraoperative irradiation, and more. Dr. Maciej S. Lesniak has pursued extensive education and training in the field of neurosurgery and neurosurgical oncology. After earning his Bachelor's Degree at Harvard University where he was honored for his excellence, he attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for his doctorate, and later received a Master's Degree in Public Health from Harvard University. His post-graduate experience includes 7 years of neurosurgery practice at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and over 10 years as Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Lesniak serves as Director of the Brain Tumor Center at the University of Chicago and his NIH supported research has led to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for brain cancer. Radiation Oncologist | Bharat Jailwala, M.D.
Dr. Jailwala earned his doctorate from Baroda Medical College of India. He was then a resident in internal medicine at St. Mary Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., and later a resident in Radiation Oncology at the University of Cincinnati. Most recently, Dr. Jailwala worked for the American Cancer Center where has been providing state of the art, Three-Dimension Radiation Therapy and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy for over 12 years. He has a special interest in treating brain metastasis and lung cancer. Dr. Yang is a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine and a former fellow of McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern Memorial Hospital with more than ten years of experience in neurological surgery. Radiation Oncologist | Par Mehta, M.D., M.B.A
Dr. Par Mehta of Chicago achieved both an M.D. as well as an M.B.A. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After completion of his residency at the local Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Mehta participated in a Brachytherapy Fellowship program in New York City, and later returned to Aurora's Rush-Copley Medical Center to continue to practice Radiation Oncology.
